After the storm passed, the sky transformed into soft pink clouds, brushed with the delicate arc of a rainbow. From my verandah, I was spellbound—so much so that I climbed onto the roof, craving an unobstructed view of the fleeting spectacle.

 The ethereal light, the softness of the clouds, and the rainbow’s gentle arc lingered in my mind long after the clouds drifted away, eventually finding its way onto a large-scale canvas—a translation, as faithful as I could make it, of a sky that had felt almost otherworldly.
