Purple Haze (WaterLily) Original Oil Painting

Medium: Oil on canvas painting

Size: 93 x 63 Centimetres

Only through close observation—whether studying or painting—does one realize the myriad subtle colors of a waterlily, each vital to capturing its true elegance on canvas.

The element I am most proud of in this painting is the waterlily whose strength and vibrant life seem to pulse from the canvas.

This painting is built around a palette of yellows, pinks and purples and is perfect for an elegant space that needs a feeling of passion, love and joy.

This painting was developed over 2 weeks and took approximately 50 hours. Created using professional-quality oil paints on premium 12-ounce canvas, this original painting has been finished with a protective varnish. The canvas has been professionally stretched over a sturdy, thick pine frame and is ready to hang.
